target for pxe boot

hi there.

since i am interested in building a pxe-bootable target ,
i thought it would be possible to modify either the rescue /
@live-target to put all the stuff into the initrd,
so there would be no need to load anything after the boot process from
the boot media .
of course the initrd would be bigger than usual, but nowadays most
thinclients come with 128mb ram , so the size of initrd should
not be really an issue.
if this is not already been acomplished some other way,  maybe rene
could give me a hint on how to do this ?
