I kind of agree that joomla might be over kill. I have created a few
Mambo sites (joomla pre forking) and I always find them sluggish
compare to non dynamic pages (or less dynamic). this can be alleviated
some buy turning on page rendering cache. but it only really helps if
the sluggishness is due to high traffic.
I love the convenience the use of a CMS is when turning a site over to
a client though...they can edit the content without special host
access etc. however I'm not sure that apply to the T2 site.
That being said, I'm a relative newbie for t2 to take my voice with
the appropriate number of salt grains.
