Re: Suggestion : a new T2 Website

Hi,
the new website looks smooth and not to far away from the old one. I like the 
old/actuell one, cause of it's simplicity and rapidity. A wiki and a search 
funktion are really important things and I am glad to find such things in 
your proposal. There is no need for a forum, a mailinglist is more effective.

On the other hand, is joomla the right CMS to present the T2-projekt? Who is 
the target group of T2? That is the important point.
Also, joomla has not a reputation for stability. Joomla is ok to build a go-go 
site based on a CMS, doesn't matter if there is downtime.
Shure, T2 is "hip", but not in a way joomla could provide. I am glad about it.
Maybe, a wiki could replace/enhance the subversion T2-handbook, don't know. 

Don't get me wrong, you did a good job. The only thing is, l like fast and 
stable project sites browsabel also from command line by lynx and without the 
need of cookies and javascript. A special case may be a wiki. Static HTML is 
not bad at all. If there is no need to switch to a PHP CMS I wouldn't do 
that.
