I built a sample minimal+x.org, but I can't install it on the target
system as it doesn't have an IDE CD-rom.

While booting from a USB CD works fine, the installer does not
recognize the USB drive, thus making it impossible to install.

The target system is an embedded device with flash disk on an IDE
channel and no further ide channels. The Flash can't be removed
without major work, soI can put it in another computer load either.

Any suggestions?

Mikael
