RE: TEC Tasks send mail - SMS message

Hello Dave,

For Gateway we are using a Windows XP Pc on which we have attached an
old Nokia phone. We use the NowSMS software which takes less than
an hour to install and setup.

The important thing is to give a name to your Gateway which must be known
by the PC or Server that will be sending the emails in the form of
phonenumber@gatewayname

What we did was we defined a mailbox in our mail server that will relay all
the emails to it to the
sms Gateway. So no changes are needed on the PCs/Servers.

I am looking at using SMS as well (currently we use e-mail to cell
phones). Which OS are you using and what SMS system are you using? Is it
very hard to setup?

Any helpful information you could provide would great and thanks in
advance.

Thank You Thomas and Sami,

I have managed to edit this "T_EC_Tasks_S_rsnlpxda"  file and make the
output look
like (below) . I want now to make this a new TEC Task so that I can invoke
it only for
SMS messages to Mobile phones.

Note: I have installed an SMS gateway which can forward emails to Mobile
phones.

Can anybody help me on this?
