sticky bits, AIX and TMR/MNs: msg#00446sysutils.tivoli.tme10
Hallo, >Our security team has done a "sweep" of our TMR and Gateways (all running >AIX) and identified numerous files with global rwx (777) permissions within we had lots of PMRs for the same problem: 777 on lcfd.log. It recurs with every new version. Open a PMR for the files in question, and if they don't need to be executable remove "x". Some of the files are used by multiple IDs, so setting "t" might not be a good idea. You should try to do this in a test env and check everything function you need.
