[ITM] DMXProcess RM on Solaris

Does the DMXProcess RM use /usr/ucb/ps on Solaris?  I have a sun box in a DMZ 
... our security thugs decided that ucb was 'insecure' and had it removed from 
the host.  So, needless to say, DM classic no longer can monitor process 
instances, so I wonder if I can use ITM?

Does anybody have a good solution for monitoring on Sun boxes without ucb?  I 
suppose I could write a script that uses /bin/ps but I don't wanna go there yet 
... I try to avoid custom scripts except as a last resort.  Does the DM daemon 
monitor use /usr/ucb/ps?
