Hey Ken,

The Sentry Engine is started automatically as a boot method when the Tivoli
subsystems initiates on an endpoint.  For TMR servers and managed nodes,
this happens when the oserv program starts.  On TMA endpoints, the start of
the lcfd program also starts the Sentry Engine.  If the Sentry Engine, for
some reason, is not running, it will be started when any engine-command is
executed against the Sentry Engine.

Dear TME10 List,

We have a Solaris gateway on which the Tivoli filesystem filled up. Ever
since then everything has been working okay except that the DM engine will
not start on any endpoint which logs into that gateway. I need to run
wlseng or invoke the boot method to get the DM engine started. The DM
engine starts without intervention if those endpoints log into another
gateway. I've done some poking around without success. Any ideas on how I
can fix this? Restore? Reinstall?
