Hi Thomas,

A DNS query may not give the address
of the endpoint instance as registered on the TME. The IP ADDRESS of the
endpoint instance as registered in the TME is what after.

Tivoli won't reveal the IP address with normal procedures.
You can get only the hostname, and I'd suggest nslookup to get the IP.
I couldn't tell which IP comes in the answer; probably depends on the DNS
server queried.

sounds to me like he wants the NAT'ed address as seen by the GW.
to judge from the additional specification "find duplicates"

I think it's not important which IP is compared as long as the
type of IP (NAT'ed or not) is always the same.
