Re: [Fwd: [TMF4.1.1] lowlevel command to obtain endpoint ip address on : msg#00519sysutils.tivoli.tme10
Hi Jason, If it's hidden, then I guess it may exist. So my question then becomes, if the hidden IP ADDRESS of the endpoint exists on the TMR somewhere, how can I retrieve it using Tivoli commands? I need this because as a prereq, I am checking if an instance of "an endpoint to be" already exists in the TME before I allow the installation to continue. When I reject the installation of the TMA code, I want to feedback the IP of the registered endpoint to the installer. As such the TMA code may not even be running on the target machine, though it's instance may still from previous installs be existing in the TME (let's just assume a very bad change management situation)!. Perhaps if there's Tivoli support folks on the list, they could also share their thought.
