Subject: RE: [FW] lcf_bundle*

Which of this directories are used by the endpoints on your environment depends on the endpoint version involved and is controlled by the bundles_map atrribute of the gateways.

To determine which lcf_bundle directory is used for a given endpoint level, you should perform the following:

1. Issue the "wlookup -ar Gateway" command to retrieve the oid for the gateway in question
2. Issue the "idlattr -tgv <gateway_oid> bundles_map string" command to see the lcf_bundle directory used for a given endpoint level.

If you are sure that ALL your endpoints are updated to the last version available (so, they're using the lcf_bundle.41100 directory), you should not have future problems if you delete this directories. (by the way....why do u want to delete them??)

But, if you see an error about files not being found when working with endpoints (spawning a method, etc)....keep an eye on this.

Hope it helps.

Asunto: [tme10] [FW] lcf_bundle*

I was just going through some of our gateways and was thinking about getting rid of some of the lcf_bundle directories.  Right now we are on FW 4.1.1 and have the following lcf_bundle directories:

lcf_bundle
lcf_bundle.40
lcf_bundle.41000
lcf_bundle.41100

I was thinking that we need to keep lcf_bundle and lcf_bundle.41100 but if all endpoints were updated, I should not need the 40 and 41000.  Has anyone else deleted these directories?  Any thoughts?

Thanks
