Hi Demis, what you described is exactly the scenario that I've done it in the past.  In fact, your description brings about a clarification question.  If your Windows box is also your TMR server, when aside from using local server accounts, I don't know how it wouldn't accept your domain login.

I've done it with a TMR server on an Active Directory Domain Controller (really bad idea) and most commonly with a Windows based TME, logging into W2k3 member servers that were MNs.

I wonder if we're all missing something specific to your configuration.  There must be some detail of your config, needed to solve your dilemma, that we're failing to ask you...

...I dunno...

Demis,

As Eric said, be very careful with the syntax of the account username.  Tivoli is very picky about capitalisation - putting the domain in capitals works for us.  You could also try leaving out the domain altogether and just use the username - if the MN you are logging onto is in the same domain as the account it should authenticate OK.

Are you logging onto a w2k box (MN or TMR)?

[tme10] [FWK4.1] Authentication with NT account

Hi list, i would like to use my Windows 2000 user to authenticate on FW. But my procedures are not working. I created a new admin, added roles, add login as domain\user and try to login but nothing works. My user is placed in Tivoli_admin_privileges group too.

any advices?
