Subject: Installing a managed node - hangs

Hi Folks,

Ive got TMF4.1.1 running on Redhat Linux.
I installed FP01 and FP02 but without the stuff that required mdist2gui as that
is not installed.

Now Im trying to create a managed node on a HPUX machine, but install hangs
with "getting ready to distribute...."

This happens when I try with wclient or from the tivoli gui.

Im specifying the location of the software ( -c with wclient ) as the top
directory of the TMF4.1.1 untarred download, ie /TMF4.1.1 .

The gui asks me where I want to install the libs, bins etc, when I click
'Install' it tells me what it needs to do, there's no errors, I click 'continue
install' and then it hangs as described above.

the .rhosts file is setup correctly, I can run 'rsh hpuxbox ls' with no probs.

Does anyone know what I may of done wrong please ?

Many thanks
Nick .
