Subject: Re: [FWK4.1] Authentication with NT account

In my experiences, I've found the following:
  1. The MN to which you login must be a Windows box unless you've preconfigured some SSO for the TME.
  2. Although Windows is not case sensitive for your user account; your corresponding Tivoli login still is.

Also, I don't believe that you have to specify the 'domain' when defining the login within the Tivoli environment.  Leaving the user account unqualified when defining the login should provide you with the widest range of uses for the user account.

I haven't tried enough variations of the above to be absolutely certain, but HTH...

Hi list, i would like to use my Windows 2000 user to authenticate on FW. But my procedures are not working. I created a new admin, added roles, add login as domain\user and try to login but nothing works. My user is placed in Tivoli_admin_privileges group too.

any advices?
