Isn't "wmdist -T" what you want?  We have data in our mdist DB 6 months old.

Am not aware of any "supported" mechanism to do this. I have experimented with simply taking daily dumps out of the tables and parsing the data with PERL into something meaningful for me and then dumping that into another table.

Does anyone know of a way to keep the MDIST data history?  Is that a really bad idea?

We have a need to report on software distribution history for a longer period of time than the default 72 hour purge after expiration date.

Are we missing something?

Tivoli Data Warehouse is not an option right now and we spend and inordinate amount of time tracking/reporting our software distribution statuses.

Any ideas are appreciated.
