If you are using the Tivoli Manager for Oracle it will no longer be able to
register Oracle database and instances because Oracle 9i no longer runs the
(forgot) command that the Tivoli Manager runs for Oracle to post the banner
for Tivoli to grep the version of Oracle.

Let me know if you need that script.

Hi,

I have a T/EC Server running on an AIX 4.3.3 server with Oracle 8.1.7.4.
We are planning an upgrade on the server to AIX 5.2 and Oracle 9I. Is there
anything I need to do with either the Framework or T/EC components so that
they work after the OS and Oracle upgrades?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Regards,
