Shias,

Did you have a look at your database? Check the temp spaces and make
sure that they have enough space. (It was recommended to me in ver
3.6.1 that the temp spaces be about 50% of the size of the data tables
size in order to successfully run wtdbclear(.pl) to clear a large number
of events - I have kept this up to ver3.9)

Try running the command with the -a parameter to force the command to
commit after a number of lines... (e.g. -a 100 will force a commit after
100 lines)

You could also try to remove just CLOSED events or events of a
particular class

(wtdbclear.pl -? Will give the list of available parameters with brief
explanations of each one)

On saying all that the command can take some time to run on a busy TEC
with a large number of events to clear

Hi,

Could any of you give me the command to clear the events in TEC. I have
tried wtdbclear.pl command but the machine seems to hang. Is there any
other way to clear the older events.

Thanks and Regards,
Shias Abdul
