FYI,

After doing some digging around here is what I found.

I then turned on further distribution debuging in the
c:\windows\swdis.ini file by editing the following lines under the
workstation id header

trace_level=5 was set to 0
trace_size=10000000 was set to 1000000 (10MB from 1MB)

In the log file created in c:\tivoli\swdis\1 called spde1.trc (the 1 can
be replaced with numbers up to 9 then it cycles back through). and saw
the following information:

[1668] 4/28/2004 2:56:01 PM [I] file::exists Testing for existence of:
C:\Tivoli\swdis\1\work\epsp.cat.sem
<snip>
[1668] 4/28/2004 2:56:01 PM [E] cmop_install() error on catalog
'C:\Tivoli\swdis\1\work\epsp.cat': error (2)

I tried clearing out a bunch of .sem files in the c:\tivoli\swdis\1
directory and sub-dirs but this did not work. I then renamed the
epsp.cat file and restarted the endpoint and the distribution started
working again.

Deleting the epsp.cat file is not desirable as it contains all the
information about distributions to a workstation for the CM_STATUS
table. I think that there is a way to use the information in the
database to update the local catalogue but I cannot find it.

Subject: [tme10] [CM]

when distributing a package to a workstation I have seen the message
"Apr 27 13:36:34 Q cm_operation_ep2 mdist: Unable to find entry for
segment 7635^10830930831088.". According to the wmdist -e command the
workstation is in INTERRUPTED state. I have tried to restart the
endpoint and this does not do anything. A quick search on Tivoli's site
did not turn up anything.

anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
