Can you resolve the gateway name from the endpoint?
Check if its in DNS or add it to the local host file

I'm trying to test endpoint prerequisites using Tivoli Software
Installation Service and when the prerequisite "Gateway is alive" is
tested the message

ISV:0049 Unable to convert gateway name into an IP address and port

is showed.


What could be wrong?
