That's what I meant :-)  

If you enabled rexec and rsh , it should
be enough, On the very first version of the Linux ep, there was a note
to upgrade the rexec package on some Linux distros. Which Linux are you
using ?

I couldn't find any reference about rcmd in the Tivoli
Enterprise
Installation
manual. Would it not the rexec and rsh commands?

I changed the /etc/xinet.d/rsh and /etc/xinet.d/rexec endpoint files
enabling execution of
rsh and rexec.

Am I missing something?
