Re: problems with TMF 4.1 on RHEL 3.0 revisited [ virengeprüft]: msg#00201sysutils.tivoli.general
Hello, have you read the ReleaseNotes of RHEL3.0? There is an RPM called compat-glibc-7.x-2.2.4.32.5.i386.rpm which is issued for the problems (with glibc2.3) you described. Other facility is to use TMF4.1.1 which is supporting RHEL3, 4.1 only supports RHAS2.1. I also recommend the update because of the ssh - Feature in 4.1.1. I installed TMF; however there were some errors. The oserv daemon is running, so the majority of the install must have succeeded. When I try to issue a tivoli command odadmin it seems to be OK: odadmin Tivoli Management Framework (tmpbuild) #1 Thu Oct 3 14:47:31 CDT 2002 (c) Copyright IBM Corp. 1990, 2002. All Rights Reserved.
