AW: [ITM] 5.1.2 (ITM 5.1.1 FP06) DMXProcess Problem.

Thanks fort he parameter. It seems to work like this with FP06: basename=sendmail: accepting connections on port 25 I always tried to pass the arguments with the &arguments= string... Hi Richard Thanks for those Infos. How do you set up your parameter? Name, basename, arguments...? Just a hunch - try duplicating the last character, as in: sendmail: accepting connections on port 255 We have a problem with another sendmail process where we have to duplicate the last character in the argument string to get it to match (and there's an APAR open for that). Hi List, I've just installed the ITM 5.1.1 FP06 in our test environment and already expreinced a small problem: I cannot monitor my "sendmail" Process on AIX 4.3.3 anymore. The process looks like this: root-bf9DGwKaVIEqMp+WYRx65w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/tmp> ps -ef | grep sendmail root 6470 5680 0 08:53:52 - 0:00 sendmail: accepting connections on port 25 root-bf9DGwKaVIEqMp+WYRx65w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/tmp> ps -el | grep sendmail 240001 A 0 6470 5680 0 60 20 f9db 1108 - 0:00 sendmail I tried to monitor it in several ways but ITM is still reporting it as missing: - name=sendmail&arguments=accepting connections on port 25 - name=sendmail:&arguments=accepting connections on port 25 - basename=sendmail - basename=sendmail: Is it a problem because of the ":" character? RE: [ITM] Cim question

TMW_LogicalDisk abstracts from PerfProv. PerfProv is a WMI (i.e., MicroSoft's implementation of a CIM) provider based on Perfmon. The FreeMB property from the TMW_LogicalDisk class is the Free unallocated space on the disk drive in megabytes. One megabyte = 1,048,576 bytes. Each time a RM cycle pops your TMW_LogicalDisk resource model will call the PerfProv provider to collect the current value of FreeMB for each logcal drive. If you want to compare values use the perfmon gui. All things being equal the values should match. [ITM] ITM 5.1.2 is available

It was apparently made available on the PartnerWare for Software download site on March 24. According to the release notes, ITM 5.1.2 is exactly the same as ITM 5.1.1 with FP06, but in glancing through the documentation it looks like there's more. For example, the DMX_FileSystem resource model has been improved to allow "*" as a pattern matching character in the name of a filesystem. So does anyone on the list know of the differences between 5.1.2 and 5.1.1 with FP06? -- Frank Frank Tate Gulf Breeze Software Frank_Tate-9LkaxTQlAnxWk0Htik3J/w@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx 512-426-6189
