Question about rerunning a daily backup

Hello all,

I just had a daily backup fail mid-way through a backup, and I'd like to delete just that backup, and effectively rerun it.

Since I know that rsnapshot manages incremental folder names, links, etc., is there a procedure that I can follow so as to help prevent a situation where I might "confuse" rsnapshot?
