Can you tell us your rsnapshot version number, your gnu cp version number,
what was in the log leading up to that error, and the output of
perl -ne 'print if /^[^#]./;' /etc/rsnapshot.conf
(that is, the active lines in your /etc/rsnapshot.conf)

If you are using an old rsnapshot (1.2.3 or earlier) with a new gnu cp
(5.9 or later), then you would have problems.
