rsnapshot error problem

Hello, I am trying to use rsnapshot and getting the following error in my logs:
[22/Aug/2006:08:00:02] /usr/bin/rsnapshot hourly: ERROR: Error!
cp_al("/usr/local/network_shares/das/.snapshots/hourly.0/",
"/usr/local/network_shares/das/.snapshots/hourly.1/")

I have looked and the version of cp being used is the GNU cp.  Also, I
can manually create directories in that dir, so permissions seem fine.
 Any idea's?
