Subject: Web based Retrieval Mechanism???

Hi All,

I use Rsnapshot to backup some linux servers in my environment. It works
like a champ and whenever I've needed to restore files, it *just works*.
Cool :)

Was wondering today if anyone uses/has created a web based file retrieval
solution. Ideally it would allow users to retrieve files/folders that they
have access to. For example the contents of their home directories. My
clients are a mix of FC4/5 and W2K/XP boxes.

Am hoping they'd be able to login (LDAP based auth mechanism), choose the
filestore they use, and then pick a snapshot to access. Once in they can
navigate to the file/folder they have deleted or wish to revert back from
and simply restore it back to their home directory (preferably the original
target or an alternative).

Thought I may have a bash myself but thought I'd ask first to stop me
re-inventing the wheel :) Had a quick look through the archive but couldn't
see much apart from a user asking a similar question back in March.

TIA

Dan
