I've never heard of any tools that does this. Also I would recommend removing the rsync -p, -u and -g in rsync_short_args if you use the rsnapshot+cwrsync method. This will prevent rsync from trying to preserve the Windows permissions, owner and group as they are obviously imcompatible. For some reasons I've had rsync setting a folder without -x (exec) permissions which caused problem later with rsnapshot.
