Hi,
I am very interested in the rsnapshot project and wish to
use it in my situation, however I am a newby to Linux! Here goes…
I currently have a Buffalo Terastation which all my data is currently
stored on, it a powerpc running cut down version or the Debian Linux distribution.
In this version I have ssh access and rsync is installed by default, however
there is no compiler tools i.e. “gcc” or nor “make” is installed
on the box.
Is it possible to install the rsnapshot program manually
without the use of “make”, if so can you please let me know how.
