Hi Carl, By chance I did a clean backuppc test install tonight, so I followed your path and came up with the same error. Fixed it by creating the pc subdirectory (my paths differ from yours): mkdir /opt/backuppc/files/pc/archives-disk ln -s /opt/backuppc/files/conf/archives-disk.pl /opt/backuppc/files/pc/archives-disk/pc/archives-disk/archives-disk.pl Your multiple runs may have created the directory automatically but I always do it manually. I too am very interested in automating the archives, both to CDRW and to tape. I'm reading through the postings to try and come up with something that works.
