Re: Success Stories: msg#00128sysutils.backup.backuppc.general
I currently am backing up 350 Macs to two servers (1U, P4, 1GB ram, 4-250GB disks on a 3ware raid). I can easily get about 200 - 250 workstations to server. We just purchased 6 more servers as we are expanding it to 1500 workstations during March. The only issue I am running into is backing up to tape with Netvault (our server backup software). Other than that, it is a perfect system. cheers, ski Johan van den Berg wrote: Hi Everyone -- "When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it connected to the entire universe" John Muir Chris "Ski" Kacoroski, kacoroski@xxxxxxxxxxx, 425-681-0092 ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users.
