Purge Bad Backups?: msg#00118sysutils.backup.backuppc.general
We have good reason to believe one of our servers was recently cracked at work. We have good backups that we have used to build a replacement server (leaving everything intact on the cracked server so we can study their intrusion method). But now the question - we know there are one or two backups of that server that have cracked files on them and the new server will have the same hostname and ip addresses, for the sake of the domains hosted on it. So, after we download any tar files we want to archive of the hacked stuff, is there a way we can purge those backups from Backuppc? I want to make sure we don't lose track of them in the regular backup shuffle and accidentally depend on them as good backups.
