escaping special chars: msg#00101sysutils.backup.backuppc.general
Hi, I've just started to implement backuppc in the office here. I have an issue with one of the rsyncd Modules which I am sure is related to the pathname rather than any permission issues. The path in the Module is of the form: path = \home\server\whatever\Sales & Marketing I am having difficulty escaping these special characters in the pathname. I have tried all sorts of combinations of backslashes/single/double quotes ..etc without luck. The error in the logs is: Error connecting to Module ...873: chroot failed I was hoping for a clue on how to get it to recognise the special chars. I relalise it maybe easier to rename the directory (have to look at implications of doing so first), but I thought I might learn something in the process.
