howto verify archive tape: msg#00030sysutils.backup.backuppc.general
BackupPC users, I would like to be able to verify that old archive tapes still contain accurate information. How can I verify a tape archive produced from BackupPC? I suppose I could use extract the tape with tar and pipe to md5sum and compare to meta-data. Has anyone done this or something similar? I didn't see info about verify or restore from archive in the docs.
