Child exited prematurely

hi list,

i have installed backuppc 2.1.0 and it works realy great. i backup all the
hosts of our company with this tool. but i have one problem with one host!
everytime when the backup starts (automaticly), i get the following
errormessage after a few minutes:

Got fatal error during xfer (Child exited prematurely)

can somebody explain me what that message mean?
