Filelistreceive failed

I receive the following error after initiating an incremental backup
using rsyncd.  Everything was working fine and I'm not sure what has
changed in my config.  Here is an excerpt from my log file:

Got file (86329 of 86330): usr/share/doc/SDL-devel-1.2.5/index.html
fileListReceive() failed
Done: 0 files, 0 bytes
Got fatal error during xfer (fileListReceive failed)

Any help would be appreciated!
