Initial Comment:
it would be great if i could scroll horizontally at "view 
playlist". Because many MP3s starts with the Interprets 
name and then follows the title. So i only see on the 
display:

 1. Interpret - ...
 2. Interpret - ...
 3. Interpret - ...
 4. Interpret - ...
>5. rpret - Song...

Instead of the autoscroll for one single line it would be 
better to scroll the whole items horizontally so that it 
can be looking like this:

 1. ret - Song1...
 2. ret - Song2...
 3. ret - Song3...
 4. ret - Song4...
>5. ret - Song5...

And it is possible to list one entry of ID3 of the files so 
that only interpret or only the title is shown in the 
playlist view? Or would it take to long for the 
recorder/player to create such ID3-based list for viewing?
