Initial Comment:
Hi there,

I've downloaded the new daily build form Dec, 16th, 
2003. 

Start- and Info screen displays Version 2.0. Is this 
correct. Doesn't it have to display 2.1?

German language file is still not working.

The "Resume ..." is missing the explaining words (Play to 
resume, other to stop) like this had been in earlier 
versions.

Thanx for this tipp. This was the solution. Do I have to this 
everytime, when I update the rockbox software?

I suggest, that more people habe this problem, because the 
german language file works with new version fine.

Hi,

I'm confused a little bit. In the 1st Menu is an item 
called "Version". If I open this item the Rockbox  logo is 
shiwn, lined under with the text "Ver. 2.0" is shown, followed 
by the scrolling line up of the credits.

If I switch on my archos, the same logo with same text id 
shown. I have never seen anything like that: CVS-031218. I 
installed the daily build "rockbox-recorder-20031219".

The startup logo also shows CVS-031218 for me. Do you mean
that the Startup screen shows a different version than the
Version screen?

Hi linusnielsen,

I think, that there is nothin you can do wrong, by installing a 
new version ... :-)


Maybe we mean different sreens: Starting up Archos with the 
grat Rockbox Logo shows Version 2.0.

I just downloaded the dec18-2003 version and it correctly
displays "CVS-031218" in the Version screen. Are you sure
that you installed the correct version, and that you
installed it correctly?
