binary execution a la Apple(r) Rosetta(r)

A feature I would like to have is binary execution of sparc binaries on x86. I 
am sure I am not the first person to think of this, but after quickly reviewing 
the posted RFEs in this forum I couldn't see anything related.

I'm not sure what this entails, but the ability of being able to run the Adobe 
Acrobat Reader on x86 would be huge.
