Dear Frode, thanks for your positive feedback. Your objections are also
understandable. Anyway, you are the first reactor, I nearly thought that I am
the only one on the list.
The traffic of spam could be reduced a lot by IP blocking - from up to 20
entries a day downt to 1. I think you can subscribe in digest mode, your
suggestion would be to send a list of newly subscribed schools once a day per
cronjob? Wouldn't know how to achieve this at the moment. I tried to use the
commits list, but my mails had been rejected.
Now, basically spam is autodetected and marked as hidden/deleted. The French
school having signed up recently is displayed automatically, so no admin
actions are necessary. Apart from this, I am following everything
carefully ;)
http://www.skolelinux.no/admin/ is the page where you can admin the list. If
you need an account, I could give you one.
Kind regards,
Ralf
PS: I colllect bad IPs on wiki.skolelinux.de/BadIPs
