Prezados (as) colegas,
Divulgo informação recebida em comunicado oficial do PMI acerca do PMBOK
3ª edição e da sua validade para o exame de certificação PMP.
Cada membro do PMI, em dia com a sua anuidade, receberá uma cópia
cortesia da 3ª edição do PMBOK®, em inglês, em um CD-ROM, junto com o
PMI Today de novembro. Além disso, a versão em inglês e suas traduções
(read only) para árabe, chinês, francês, alemão, italiano, Japonês,
coreano, português (brasileiro), russo e espanhol estarão acessíveis
para membros no website do PMI a partir de domingo, 31 de outubro de
2004. Os membros podem desde já fazer o pré-pedido do PMBOK® em formato
de livro no bookstore do PMI. O Exame PMP® permanecerá em alinhamento
com o PMBOK® 2000 até o terceiro trimestre de 2005.

Each PMI member in good standing will receive a complimentary copy of
the PMBOK® Guide-Third Edition in English on a CD-ROM in the pollybag
with their November issues of PM Network® and PMI TodayTM. Also, the
English version plus read-only translations of the Third Edition in
Arabic, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), French, German,
Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian and Spanish
will all be accessible to members via the Members Only section of the
PMI Web site as of Sunday, 31 October 2004. Also, members can pre-order
the PMBOK® Guide-Third Edition in book format by going to . Important
information about the PMP Exam and the PMBOK® Guide-Third Edition. The
Project Management Professional (PMP®) Exam will remain in alignment
with the PMBOK® Guide-2000 Edition until third quarter 2005. At that
time, the PMP Exam will be updated and developed according to a new Role
Delineation Study and aligned to the PMBOK® Guide-Third Edition and
other reference material revised since the last exam update.
