I'm not familiar with macchanger, but I assumed it did the same thing
ifconfig implements with "hw ether".

AFAIK, there is no support in madwifi-ng for changing your MAC address.
 I spent some time hacking it in, but only got it partially working, and
became frustrated and stopped caring after a few kernel oops'. :)

I'll spend some more time on this and send an update to the list if I
get it working.
