tool for stripping JavaScript out of PDF's: msg#00016security.websecurity
A while back were were discussing how JavaScript embedded in PDF files pose a security risk. http://www.webappsec.org/lists/websecurity/archive/2005-06/msg00130.html One of the recommended solutions was to turn off JavaScript in the PDF reader. But this doesn't help when we want to sanitize PDF's for redistribution. Does anyone know of tools that will strip JavaScript out of a PDF file? If there isn't one, perhaps someone might want to take up the cause and write one. :) Regards, Jeremiah- |
