RE: Security tool for monitoring HTTP headers?: msg#00071security.web-applications
I believe what you would be looking for would be a local proxy-type util. My 2 favorite ones are Web Sleuth (http://www.sandsprite.com/Sleuth/download.html) and older one called Mini-Browser, which is my fav for quick and easy http modification. The site for mini-browser doesn't seem to have it for d/l anymore, so I placed an archived version here: http://www.jjhicks.com/tools/MiniBrowser.zip. cheers, sunzi > -----Original Message----- > From: patrick@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > [mailto:patrick@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, February 24, 2004 3:06 AM > To: webappsec@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Security tool for monitoring HTTP headers? > > > Does anyone know of a security tool for modifying HTTP > headers directly? > For example if I wanted to verify that there was proper input > validation > against some of the data in a POST request, does a tool besides Telnet > exist?
