script udate broken: msg#00120security.nmap.devel
This command: nmap.exe -sC --script-trace --script-updatedb yields: Starting Nmap 4.21ALPHA2 ( http://insecure.org ) at 2006-12-27 14:42 GMT SCRIPT ENGINE: Couldn't find 'scripts\' . SCRIPT ENGINE: Aborting database update. Nmap finished: 0 IP addresses (0 hosts up) scanned in 0.078 seconds I ran nmap.exe from it's source dir (where nmap.exe) is located. I also noted there is no 'scripts.db'. Is that so. If so, the error message is misleading since I do have a 'scripts' sub-dir. BTW. Setting or unsetting NMAPDIR had no effect. --gv _______________________________________________ Sent through the nmap-dev mailing list http://cgi.insecure.org/mailman/listinfo/nmap-dev Archived at http://SecLists.Org |
