Hi All,

I tried to run UD scan with nmap 3.93 on a Windows XP
machine with SP1, but it crashed but it works fine
with SP2. Can anyone suggest how to fix it.

Thanks,
Soumya

Re: any bus, suggestions or improvements on NmapGUI?

Hi Emmanuel I think your problem is a QT 4.0.1 bug. The install scripts are suppose to copy mkspecs into $QTDIR. To fix your problem you have to download the source and copy the mkspecs folder into $QTDIR. In your case this is '/usr/local/Trolltech/Qt-4.0.1/'. The Qt source can be found at: ftp://ftp.trolltech.com/qt/source/qt-x11-opensource-src-4.0.1.tar.gz -- Ole Morten Grodås On 9/18/05, Emmanuel Goldstein <goldstein101@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > I installed QT using fedora's yum so I didnt have to compile it ;-P > Anyway, i've got a problem. Program crash with idle scan script on 3.93

I have had the same problem both with the GUI and command line. To many different sites. I do have the alerter files from XP if you want them? Plus I think I may have a nmap dump file.* I am running XP* Home SP1 with all the security updates. I have used them on different ports as well. I used the idle scan command as per the article on your site. Thanks.
