Is a NAT on PPTP interface a taboo subject ?
It is strange that i m the only people who gets the problem.

If your LAN is on 192.168.0.0/24 and if the LAN of the PPTP client is also on
192.168.0.0/24 (and this case if not rare) how can pptp client send packet to
the remote LAN ?
The workstation will sent all packets to his LAN interface and not to VPN :(

Cya and thanks for any help.

Sorry for this reply from myself :)

Objet : NAT on PPTP interface

Hello all.

I just want to use NAT on the PPTP interface of Monowall.

Here is my network:

VPN client (local adress 192.168.0.1/24
, vpn adress 192.168.1.192/28)
|
|
|
router of customer (named router 2)
|
|
|
INTERNET
|
|
|
|-interface wan :
public adress
- VPN Server adress 192.168.1.1 m0n0wall
|-interface lan :
192.168.0.1
|
|
192.168.0.0/24 network
|
|
|-interface :
192.168.0.2
my router (named router 1)
|-interface : 10.10.5.1
|
|
10.0.0.0/8 network

I want to enable NAT between VPN client and routeur 192.168.0.2
But on the NAT configuration of Monowall i can't select "PPTP"
as external adress.
Must i add "192.168.1.1" as "server NAT" on the server NAT page
?
Can i not use a symbolic name like "PPTP interface" ?
It is the case for "wan interface".

Sorry for my english, it is not my primary language.

Thanks u in advance.
