Not at the same time, no. If you have a laptop with interchangeable
network pc-cards, then yes you can. Otherwise, with 2 cards installed
at the same time, one will be eth0 the other will be eth1 assuming they
are both ethernet cards (not token ring, appletalk, etc.).

Hi
Just a question, can "eth0" be on 2 interfaces?

Hi !
I have problems with firestarter-beta (http://www.fs-security.com/beta)
and dhcp-clients.
With firestarter 1.0.3 it won't work too but i get this message:
Jul 21 19:17:13 pcneu kernel: Unknown InputIN=eth0 OUT=
MAC=00:50:ba:74:d9:a6:00:0d:fe:00:48:f1:08:00 SRC=192.168.0.29
DST=192.168.0.11 LEN=328 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=30 ID=13364 PROTO=UDP
SPT=16868 DPT=16867 LEN=308
With the beta version i get no messages about blocked requests.
My dhcp-client (Hauppauge MediaMVP) needs to load one file from my pc via
dhcp and tftpboot (from eth0) which are installed on my pc.
If i stop firestarter the dhcp-client loads the requested file and everything
works fine.
Some lines from my firestarter-configuration (beta-version):
EXT_INTERFACES=["eth0", "ppp0"]
EXT_PPP=True
INT_INTERFACES=["eth0", "eth1", "bnep0"]
NAT=True
DHCP_SERVER=True
DHCP_DYNAMIC_DNS=True
LOG_LEVEL="INFO"
No other changes are made in the configuration file.
What is the problem ?
Dirk
