Log message (5 lines):
In the distcheck rule, install the core library (to a temporary location
specified by --prefix), because make distcheck on the bindings requires that
the core library is installed (otherwise, libtool fails to be able to relink
the libraries when they're installed).
Also, reduce the priority of the distcheck rule, since it's very slow.
