About Polish Wikipedia: I appointed myself as one who sshes into Wikipedia server and does UPDATE users SET user_right='sysop' WHERE user_name='Foo' when we decide somebody should become a sysop. (so far I did it only once, most sysops rights were given in older "mail to Brion" process) The decision process looks like that: * X says he/she wants to become a sysop * nobody opposes that * X becomes a sysop |
