Five components of the International Corpus of English (ICE) can be downloaded from http://www.ucl.ac.uk/english-usage/ice/index.htm. Each corpus contains c.600,000 words of orthographically transcribed speech.

Best wishes,

Dear All, I am currently working on the compilation of a balanced corpus of general English and I am looking for corpora of spoken English.

Any suggestion for a resource allowing the download of corpora of spoken English will be very welcomed.

Thank you for your help.
